A tradition of excellence....A dedication to quality
Our dedication and commitment to health and personality has also produced some top cats. Each year, we have been proud to have produced and shown some of the top Somalis. We are quite proud of these accomplishments! Each year before the start of the new show season, we make a list of goals for the upcoming season. We are very proud to say that we have achieved every one of these goals every single year, plus a couple of "bonus" ones along the way! What are our goals for this year? Well, that is part of the tradition......only our very closest friends know.
Tadofa Somalis is the home of two National Best Somalis and one National Second Best Somali. We are tied only with our friends Bruce and Debbie Bobbins of Silkpaws Cattery and Monique Belton of Imzadi cattery for the most National Best Somali wins! We have had more top Somalis than any other breeders in the twenty year history of the Somali. Unfortunately, Debbie and Bruce are not breeding cats at this time. We hope to see Silkpaws kittens in the future, again contributing to the Somali breed, and are thrilled that Imzadi cats are continuing in the successes of the breed.

They wouldn't be dilute if it weren't for Tadofa.... In 1997 - 1998 there were only three dilute Somalis competing in the championship division - the Best and Third Best Blues in CFA were our grandchildren! Tadofa grandkids have continued the tradition annually through the current show seasons. CFA's first fawn National Winner is a Tadofa grandkid, and wouldn't be a fawn were in not for our lines. All of the top dilutes in the country and the dilute National Winner and Regional Winners have Tadofa to thank for being dilute! Congratulations to all and THANK YOU for showing our grandkids!
